We have been with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for over 30 years now. Although our roles have changed somewhat over the years, our mission statement has remained remarkably the same. We want people to be as significant as possible for the Kingdom of God and to be able to do what God has called them to do. We want to see the Kingdom of God in action on earth. We equip, train, mentor, coach and send leaders and disciplers into the world.
We work towards helping emerging missionaries get discipled and sent out. How do we do it? As full time volunteers with YWAM we disciple people in their identity in Christ so they can share the gospel effectively wherever they find themselves, while refining their own God-given calling for their lives. We also train and develop leaders: people who can disciple and lead others in Godly ways for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We do this here in Montana, as well as in other locations around the globe. We like to call these people “discipling-leaders”. We especially love to work with the “leaders of leaders”: those who have leadership gifting to the degree that they are discipling emerging leaders of their own. We do all of this in the following ways:
